Canada AIPP

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) is a Canadian immigration program designed to address the labor market needs of the Atlantic Provinces. The program is aimed at attracting and retaining skilled workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs to the four Atlantic Provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island.

The AIPP is a unique immigration program that operates through partnerships between the federal government of Canada, the Atlantic Provinces, and designated employers in the region. Under the AIPP, eligible candidates can apply for permanent residency in Canada by obtaining a job offer from a designated employer in the Atlantic region.

The AIPP operates through three main streams:

  1. Atlantic High-Skilled Program: This stream is for highly skilled workers who have a job offer in a National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Type 0, A, or B occupation.
  2. Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program: This stream is for intermediate-skilled workers who have a job offer in an NOC Skill Type C occupation.
  3. Atlantic International Graduate Program: This stream is for international graduates who have a job offer from a designated employer in the Atlantic region.

The AIPP application process involves the following steps:

  1. Find a designated employer in the Atlantic region who is willing to offer a job.
  2. Receive a job offer from the employer.
  3. Get an endorsement letter from one of the four Atlantic Provinces.
  4. Submit an application for permanent residency to the federal government of Canada.
  5. Complete medical and security checks.
  6. Receive a permanent residency visa and travel to Canada.
